MBA grad dies overtaking lorry on ORR
In yet another accident on the high speed corridor, Outer Ring Road (ORR), an MBA graduate lost his life on Sunday, in Vattinagulapally, while his four friends, who were in the same car, sustained minor injuries. Police said the victim, B. Deepak Bandari, 25, an MBA graduate and resident of Aghapura, was returning from a marriage party along with his friends, when his car rammed a lorry in the early morning.
Deepak and his friends had a party in their friend’s home at Patancheru. “When they were returning at around 3.30 am after the party, Deepak was driving the car,” said Raidurgam police inspector A. Bala Koti.
As he was trying to overtake a lorry near Vattinagulapally village, he lost control and rammed the vehicle. The driver’s side of the car was crushed resulting in fatal injuries to Deepak’s body,” he added.
Soon after the mishap, Deepak and his injured friends were rushed to a private hospital in the city, were he was declared brought dead. Deepak, who returned to India in December last year after finishing his MBA from London, was about to join an MNC. His car which was partially damaged in the accident was bought by him a few weeks ago, police said.
