Driver ended life for T, says family
A 28-year-old man named Bhukya Mohan hanged himself to death for Telangana.
A resident of the Gandhi Girijan Colony in Habsiguda, Mohan committed suicide for the cause of Telangana, according to a complaint lodged by his family. Mohan is survived by his wife Vijaya, a son and a daughter.
Osmania University sub-inspector Madhusudhan Reddy said Mohan used to work as a driver and that his father Kishtu has several gup-chup pushcarts.
“Mohan might have committed suicide between 6 and 7 pm on Saturday. Though he didn’t leave behind any suicide note his family and neighbours said that he did it for the cause of Telangana,” police said.
According to them he had watched a film on Telangana and had committed suicide after getting excited.
Mohan’s body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital mortuary and was handed over to the family after post-mortem.
OU police has registered a case of suspicious death and is investigating.
