Don’t block task forces, colleges told

The state government on Friday warned managements of engineering colleges that it will book criminal cases against them if they obstruct inspections by government-appointed task forces.

There have been complaints that some colleges are not allowing the task force personnel to conduct inspections.

“Managements should realise that the AP High Court has allowed the government to inspect engineering colleges. If any college obstructs inspections, they have to face criminal cases,” said deputy chief minister Damodar Raja Narasimha.
