A cop and four others were injured during a fight between a historysheeter and a group of people at Ganga Bowli on Tuesday. Tappachabutra S-I, S. Ravikumar, said that Sheik Jani, the historysheeter, picked up a fight with his neighbour on Tuesday. “Jani had sold his home to his neighbour Afsal two years ago. However, he did not vacate and handover the house. When Afsal and his sons demanded that he leave, they were attacked.” ASI Syed Basheer, who was at the police outpost, suffered injuries to his hands when he tried to intervene in the fight, the police said.
