CID registers another case on Bhanu

The CID booked another case against gangster Bhanu Kiran and Mangali Krishna in a land dispute case where they threatened a landowner. The complainant Chiranjeevi Prasad who owns 20 acres of land at Yellampally near Medchal accused Bhanu, Mangali Krishna and their associates Chandu and Nayani Narasimha Rao of selling away the land mortgaged to them.

A CID official said, “Chiranjeevi Prasad sought a loan of Rs 50 lakh from Chandu for his daughter’s wedding. Chandu gave Prasad Rs 10 lakh and another Rs 40 lakh to Mallesh, an associate of Prasad as the marriage got postponed. Prasad could not get the money from Mallesh on time and Chandu made use of Prasad’s signatures on blank papers to take over the disputed land. He sold the land without Prasad’s knowledge.” When Prasad questioned Chandu about it, Bhanu Kiran and Mangali Krishna threatened to kill him. CID booked cases on all of them.
