Budget session: State failed, says Opposition

The state government on Wednesday came under attack from the TRS, the BJP and CPI for its failure to hold a discussion on the suicides by youth for Telangana in the Assembly. “We are treated as second-class citizens. Can’t this House pay homage to the youth who committed suicides for Telangana and appeal to them not to resort to extreme step,” Independent MLA Nagam Janardhan Reddy asked. Meanwhile, other opposition parties flayed the government over the way the Assembly Session was conducted, demands passed without discussion and failure to take up burning public issues.
