BJP believes in collective leadership

Hitting back at his bête noire and former chief minister B.S .Yeddyurappa for hurling accusa tions persistently at him, BJP gen eral secretary H.N. Ananth Kumar said on Friday the party was not dependent on any individual.

Speaking at a special meeting of Bengaluru (Urban) unit of the party, Mr. Kumar said “for BJP, the concern about the country comes first, followed by that of peo ple, and individuals stand last in our party.

“Our party is not portraying any individual as is the case in Janata Dal (S). We believe in collective leadership rather individual wor ship“.
