AP students top CA test
Andhra Pradesh students have scored big once again, as they bagged eight out of the top 10 ranks in the national CA-CPT 2012, the results of which were announced by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Thursday. Five Sri Chaitanya and three Narayana students featured in the top 10. Sri Chaitanya's K.L.S. Pavan Kumar got 3rd rank, Ramisetti Venkatesh came 4th, Desu Naga Sumedh came 7th, Pilla Sai Prashanth came 8th, and N. Sri Ganeshan came 10th.
Meanwhile, Narayana Group’s Vedula Sreeram Gopal bagged the 9th rank, and C. Poorna and R. Balaji both secured the 10th rank. Dr B.S. Rao, Sri Chaitanya Group chairman, stated: “This is our first batch of students who were trained for the CA-CPT exam. Our students have created a record by bagging five ranks in the top 10 category at national level. These results were in line with the top results achieved in engineering, medical and civil services exams by our institute.”
For Narayana Group, too, it was their first batch of CA-CPT students. Dr P. Narayana , group chairman, said: “Our students made us proud by bagging three ranks in the top 10. The credit goes to students, parents and teachers.”
