12 bodies missing from Osmania mortuary

Around 12 unknown dead bodies went missing from the Osmania General Hospital Mortuary.

Satya Harishchandra Foundation, an NGO that takes care of the cremation of unknown bodies, alleged that the bodies were sold by officials in the mortuary. According to K. Rajeshwar Rao, general secretary of the foun-dation, the organisation received highly decomposed bodies and skeletons instead of the dead bodies of those who died a few days ago. “Two days ago, we were supposed to receive 12 unknown bodies. The original bodies are missing now. To conceal the issue, they gave us the decomposed bodies,” he added.
