Actress Naomi Watts wedged a cocktail stick in her mouth to get Princess Diana’s exact facial features for her role in a new biopic.
The 44-year-old actress, who takes on the title role in a new biopic Diana, prepared hard to alter her own features and replicate the tragic British royal’s look, reported Contactmusic.
“I didn’t just want to appear like her, it’s also about the tone of her voice and the way she moved her face. It’s completely opposite of how I move my face. I move my face on the right-hand side and she moves hers to the left,” she said.
“I had to walk around with a cocktail stick in my mouth to paralyse the right-hand side of my face for weeks,” she added.
The actress spent weeks trying to get Diana’s accent, confessing she was nervous about accurately playing the dead royal.
