U2 hated living with Bono
Irish rock band U2’s bandmates says that they found it very hard sharing a house with the frontman Bono in the late 1980s.
Formed in 1976, the group consists of Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr.
“It was a madhouse. I think Bono drove us mad. It’s very hard to live with Bono,” contactmusic.com quoted Clayton as saying. It was a house that was due to be demolished and was built in blocks around a pool. We each had a bedroom and living area; it was basically a commune. Bono would find all these things to do late at night, all these underground clubs,” he added.
