Madonna crowned 2012’s top music earner

Pop superstar Madonna has been named the ‘Top Money Maker of 2012’ by Billboard magazine.
The 24-year-old singer, who earned an estimated 32 million dollars from her hugely successful MDNA world tour, has banked a whopping 34.58 million dollars in the last 12 months.

The Lucky Star singer has narrowly beaten rock icon Bruce Springsteen, who acquired 33.44 million dollars in the same period, Contactmusic reported.
Pink Floyd legend Roger Waters was placed third with 21.16 million dollars, while Van Halen with 20.18 million dollars bagged the fourth place.
