The Oscar-winning actor Jon Voight, recently rekindled his relationship with daughter Angelina Jolie after years of estrangement and is now enjoying every moment of spending quality time with the six children the actress raises with partner Brad Pitt.
He told Hollyscoop.com, “Every stage in your life has delights, thank God. And also dramas. Oh my gosh being a grandfather is the most wonderful thing, it really is. I hope to see them soon.”
Jon and Angelina reconciled in February, with Jon joining the family in Venice, Italy, and he says it was a joint decision to put their problems behind them.
When asked who started the proceedings, Jon replied, “We did together.” Jon has previously spoken of his delight at being reunited with Angelina saying it was “wonderful”.
Speaking on his return from Italy, Jon said, “It was good. We spent quality time together. I don’t want to talk about it too much but it was wonderful.”
The 71-year-old star also praised Brad, describing him as “terrific”.

Meg to go behind the camerasThe When Harry Met Sally actress Meg Ryan, is trying to raise funds so she can direct her first film, which she hopes to begin shooting later this year.
She said, “We’re about to begin casting, but the film’s title is under wraps until we get the full financing.”
Meg was speaking at the Cannes Film Festival and is using the prestigious event to network with producers and talk about her future movie project. If her director dream fails to take off, Meg could always fall back on being an interior designer.
The 48-year-old beauty recently showed off her new home which she helped to renovate with Marsha Russell from design firm Satinwood.
The mother-of-two said, “I feel like I”ve been renovating houses my whole life. I've renovated apartments, lofts, a log cabin in Montana. I’m constantly ripping pages out magazines in search of inspiration.”

Kate adores co-star Alex
The True Blood actor Alexander Skarsgard, was seen out and about in his native Stockholm, Sweden, with the actress Kate Bosworth at the weekend, meeting up with friends and spending time with his family.
One source at a coffee shop where the couple were relaxing with pals told E! Online, “They looked so happy together. Kate was rubbing Alex’s back and looking up at him affectionately. You can definitely tell they’re in love.”
Alexander and Kate have been romantically linked since last September, but despite being photographed together several times, have repeatedly denied they are dating.
However, Kate, 27, recently admitted she “adores” the star, though will only admit they are “very good friends”. When asked about their relationship status, she said, “That’s a minefield, man. I’m not stepping into that. I’ve learned too well from being on that road. We are very good friends, He’s a wonderful, wonderful man.”
Alexander has also been tight-lipped about their romance, claiming recently he is single. When asked if he would date an actress, Alexander, 34, added, “I don’t think that matters...There are pros and cons. It’s about a connection. I don’t really care what they do for a living if the connection is there.”
