Hepburn’s iconic pick-up line tops list
Audrey Hepburn’s pick-up line in her 1963 movie Charade has been voted as the best in a survey. “I don’t bite, you know… unless it’s called for,” the Daily Express quoted her as telling Cary Grant in Charade.
Lauren Bacall was placed second for her pick-up line to Humphrey Bogart in the 1944 film To Have And To Have Not, “You don’t have to say anything… Oh, maybe just whistle. You know how to whistle don’t you?”
Surprisingly, the third place was won by a cartoon character, Jessica Rabbit, who was voiced by Kathleen Turner in 1988 movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit? “You don’t know how hard it is being a woman looking the way I do,” Jessica Rabbit said.
