Douglas pleads with Catherine to celebrate their joint b’days

Hollywood star Michael Douglas reportedly wants to celebrate his birthday with estranged wife Catherine Zeta-Jones.
The 68-year-old actor still hopes he can work things out with Zeta-Jones and is keen to keep things amicable for the sake of their kids — Carys, 10, and Dylan, 13, reported Showbizspy.
“Michael has been pleading with Catherine to celebrate the birthday they both share on September 25 — in hopes that they can try to work things out,” a source said.
“Throughout their marriage, they have always made that day a very special occasion between them. Michael has been saying that if Catherine agrees to spend this next birthday together, he believes he can convince her that their marriage is worth saving,” the source added.
Douglas has also picked out a sparkly bauble with a half million-dollar price tag to gift her on their special day.
