Adele trademarks her name
Adele has filed an application with England’s Intellectual Property Office to trademark her name, it has been revealed.
According to the Sun, the 24-year-old singer was concerned about her name being attached to a product that she has not endorsed.
A source said that the Rolling in the Deep hitmaker doesn’t want anyone exploiting her name by using it on products that may trick punters into thinking she’s involved with it, the Mirror reported.
A trademark would mean that she could take legal action against anyone, who uses her name to market a product she has not approved.
