Easy wins mark Day 2

DAV College of Jalandhar, Ludhiana’s GHG Khalsa College and Municipal College, Rourkela, recorded easy wins on the second day of the 20th Sail-Nehru Champion Colleges hockey tournament in Gwalior on Tuesday.

Playing the first match of the day, DAV College rode on Jaswinder Singh’s brace as they beat University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, 6-2.
For Khalsa College, Navjot Singh steered the side to a 3-0 victory over Gwalior’s Lakshmibai Physical College.
Later, Municipal College, Rourkela, demolished Delhi’s Motilal Nehru College 13-2.
