Genital growth differs in everyone
Q I am an 18-year-old man and my penis measures three inches when it is erect. Also it is very thin. Will this prove to be a problem when I have sex? Another thing that I was wondering about is, if it is alright to have sex with my girlfriend when she has her periods?
All that a man requires for a satisfactory sex life is a two-inch or five centimetre long penis that too when it is erect. The vagina is a potential space, meaning it can fit over any thickness/thinness. As long as you do not harbour any genital or urinary infection and if she is willing, it is alright. Also, you should not be carrying Hepatitis B and HIV organisms in your system. These can be passed on to her as these organisms can travel with the semen. Moreover, during (menstrual bleeding) the woman’s genital tract is raw and hence, she is at a higher risk of contracting diseases during that period.
Q My son is 12 years old but his penis is the same size as it was when he was born. I have another son who is older and his penis seems to be normal. Is there something wrong with my younger son?
If your son is otherwise healthy, then you need not worry. Genital development occurs at a different pace for different individuals, even if they are siblings. However, it is advisable to get your son examined by a doctor.
