Delhi golfer Gurbani Singh returned a card of 74 to lead the field by one stroke after the second round in the Usha Southern India Ladies at the KGA in Bengaluru on Wednesday.

Gurbani, second after the opening day’, moved to the top with a total of 148.
Local star Aditi Ashok was second with a two-day total of 149.
Overnight leader, Amandeep Drall (73-81), slipped with a round of 81 and at 154, she was tied for fourth with Millie Saroha (74-80).
Gauri Monga, also from Delhi, also shot a 74.
Gauri — who made a comeback to the circuit after a year off due to school examinations — moved up from seventh to third at 152.
In a not-so-impressive card, Gurbani collected just one birdie against three bogeys, while Aditi had two birdies against as many bogeys, and one double bogey.
Gauri had three birdies, but she also had as many bogeys besides a double bogey as the top three carded identical scores.
Meanwhile, defending champion Mehar Atwal (77-82) was off colour for the second day running and she is now way back in tied 12th place at 159.
Gurbani and Aditi were one-two in the overall category and also combined for A and B. Aditi was leading in Category B with Ridhima Dilawari (80-77) second.
In Category C, Tanrika Singh stayed on top with a round of 84 for a total of 175, and Harnemat Toor Kaur (93-89) was second followed by Riya Ahuja (91-92).
In Category D, Vasundhara Tihara (91-93) was the leader, a stroke ahead of Tanishka Kumar (93-92).
