On Sunday, Manchester City travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool in what should be an incredibly interesting affair.

City are at the top of the league and are rampant. Having destroyed Manchester United at Old Trafford, their confidence is sky high. They have only dropped two points all season and are unbeaten. They have scored 42 goals at an average of 3.5 goals per match. They have also conceded just 11 goals, making their defence the tightest in the league.

Which, oddly enough, makes Liverpool the likelier team to win. Year after year, Liverpool have shown this mysterious ability to defeat the best teams in the league no matter what form they themselves are going through. While they may struggle to impose themselves against the smaller clubs, against the ‘big ones’, Liverpool are notoriously hard to beat.
