DSA Academy, DPS seal last-8 berths

Delhi Soccer Association Football Academy and Delhi Public School Football Academy entered the quarter-finals of the 2nd Delhi Soccer Association inter-academies footballl tournament 2013 for the Delhi United Cup at the Commonwealth Games Village Sports Complex in the capital.
In a Group D preliminary league match, DSA FA notched up a 4-1 win over Milestones FA to book their last-eight berth.
Abhishek Kumar opened the scoring in the 16th minute, while Milestones Academy equalised through Jas Juneja in the 25th minute.
DSA Academy though dominated thereafter, with Paras (36th), Mukesh (40th) and Apar (50th) scoring once each to complete the tally.
Earlier, Delhi Public School FA edged past Youngsters FA 2-1.
DPS’s Rohan struck in the very first minute, while Ritwik added to the tally in the 45th minute.
Youngsters’ Samarath reduced the margin a minute later, but the team failed to make any further inroads.
Chaak FA will face Conscient FA, while Delhi Students clash with Shimla Youngs FA to decide on the other quarter-final berths.
