Barca blast 'immoral' Arsenal
Spain: Barcelona late on Thursday accused Arsenal of âimmoralâ behaviour after the Gunnersâ ÂŁ300,000-purchase of Jon Miquel Toral Harper from the Spanish giants' academy, according to the media.
Barcelona president Sandro Rosell criticised the English club after completing their latest move. âIt's very important to keep this group of young lads together with a grounding in our way of playing football and we don't like it when others come with offers of money just before the player's 16th birthday. It's legal but a little immoral,â Britain's Daily Mail quoted Rosell.
For a question regarding bringing Fabregas, who is seen as an eventual replacement for playmaker Xavi, back to Barca, Rosell said: âBarca must have the best possible team and we have to fulfill the requests from the technical staff without forgetting the economic situation. If Cesc comes, because the technical staff want him and he wants to, the club members would accept it.â
