I am an opinioniser
What did you think of Inception, the film?
It is the kind of a film which will make any director in the world feel like an idiot when compared to Christopher Nolan.
The greatest thing about it is that Nolan takes it for granted that the audience is intelligent whereas most of us idiotic directors in India assume that the audience is too foolish to understand anything that is intelligent.
Do you like being RGV?
Irrespective of what my name is, I like the way I feel, I like the way I think, I like the way I do.
How did you prepare for your engineering exams?
By trying to learn various ways of copying.
Why do you think common sense is rarely common?
Because the world has more commoners than sensible people and this truth I arrived upon as I am commonly asked many kinds of several non-commonsensical questions in this column by many many commoners like you.
Are you opinionated?
No. I am an opinioniser.
RGV, your 1 per cent of brain that I like, is symbolically reflected in your good films and 99 per cent in your bad films and the 10 per cent of the good films part of your brain is where your order comes from your own chaos. The rest 90 per cent of 1 per cent is for your own amusement, which I think you use for your own twisted humour.
One per cent of my brain is in chaos whereas 99 per cent of it is in order but that 1 per cent chaos triggers a chain reaction in the 99 per cent order which converts it into 99 per cent chaos which in turn orders the 1 per cent chaotic order to order 99 per cent chaos.
P.S.: Only intelligent people can understand this answer of mine. I advise morons not to even try to.
It took a lifetime for you to develop a certain integrated perception of existence from various philosophies you studied and for us no more than some of your writings and columns to analyse it. I think you need to introduce yourself to some new philosophies.
It didn’t take me a lifetime but I took time out from my life to have an integrated understanding. My intention was never to educate you or to make you analyse. I am just expressing myself in this column. And for your information, I don’t linger on any particular philosophies. “Books knowledge and interactions with people and thoughts should be like the stepping stones of a ladder. As soon as you climb you should leave the step below. You shouldn’t carry what should carry you.” — Arthur Schopenhauer (The World as Will and Idea)
Do you think you would be the same person without reading Ayn Rand’s Fountainhead and Nietzsche’s Thus Spake Zarathustra?
That’s a good question. It’s very difficult to say whether it is because of the person I am that I understood them or it’s because I understand them, I became what I am. Nevertheless, they and many other thinkers have put an order into my disarranged thoughts and gave a clear direction to me to channelise my energies.
You are too impressed with yourself, aren’t you?
Yes and that is largely due to my interaction with so many lesser impressive people of the world including you who ask me such inane questions thereby leaving me with no choice but to be damn impressed with myself.
