Woman jumps to death in S. Delhi

A 40-year-old woman on Sunday committed suicide by jumping from the 6th floor of Batla Apartments in the I.P. Extension area in south Delhi. The deceased, Komal Verma, who was an MNC employee, was under going prolonged depression.
So far, the police officers have said that Komal had been depressed and was also undergoing treatment at Max Hospital’s psychiatry department.
Police officers also pointed out that Komal had suicidal tendencies and had earlier been admitted in a city hospital after consuming sleeping pills. According to the local police, the deceased jumped from the window of her Batla Apartment residence around 3 am on Sunday. Komal is survived by her husband Sanjay Verma and two children. The police has registered a case of suicide.
