Woman cop helps police nab criminal

The police on Saturday said that it has arrested an alleged robber who was declared a proclaimed offender in a robbery case that took place in Sarita Vihar area. Two stolen motorcycles were recovered from him. A senior police official said that the accused was identified as Prem Singh, alias Bobby.

The police took the help of a woman constable to nab the accused. The woman constable called him up and asked him to come near Dwarka Sector 14 Metro Station. The police arrested him when he reached there.
Meanwhile, a man allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a canal in Gautampuri. Divers fished out the body after three hours. The police said that the identity of the deceased was yet to be established.
