Two women held with drugs, cash

Two women have been arrested with drugs worth lakhs of rupees by the Delhi police in Sultanpuri area in Outer Delhi.
The police has recovered smack and `3 lakh cash.

The women have been identified as Ashawati and Shyamwati alias Somwati. They are residents of Kumhar Basti of Sultanpuri.
The police got a tip-off that these two women are involved in drug trafficking. The police reacted to the information and raided the Kumhar basti

and recovered 261 grams of smack and `2.90 lakhs in cash that was earned after selling the drugs. They women told the police that their husbands

are drug addicts. Shyamwati’s husband is reportedly been admitted in a drug de-addiction centre. She is also involved in criminal cases.
The police is interrogatng them and trying to know who supplies smack to them.
