Traders robbed by Mewat gang

Three Nagpur-based businessmen were abducted by a Mewati gang from Indira Gandhi International Airport and taken to Haryana where they were robbed of cash, jewellery and other belongings worth lakhs of rupees, the police said on Tuesday.
One of the victims, Suresh Laxman Khullar, a resident of Nagpur, Maharashtra, had approached the police in Mewat to file a case against the accused gangsters but his plea was allegedly turned down by the Haryana police after which he approached the Delhi police and a case of robbery was registered on May 5. Despite repeated attempts, Haryana police officials were not available for their comments.
The incident took place on May 1 when Khullar arrived at IGI airport along with his business partners Govind Devpuri and Dheeraj Daggar. “I had checked a website to locate copper scrap sellers in the country through which I came in contact with one Chaudhary. Since his offer was lucrative, I took an Indigo flight along with my colleagues and arrived in Delhi on May 1,” the victim said.
“As the three businessman landed in Delhi, three men were waiting outside the IGI airport in a silver colour Toyoto Innova car. The victims got into the car and started their journey. However, they began to feel suspicious and asked them to identify themselves. Before they could understand anything, the car halted at an isolated area and the three men were robbed of `3.5 lakhs in cash, gold and diamond jewellery, mobiles and other belongings,” the source said.
Police sources claimed that some police officials in Haryana are allegedly hand-in-glove with the accused Mewati gangsters who have been previously involved in a number of heinous cases reported from the national capital, including the infamous Dhaula Kuan abduction and gangrape of a northeastern girl last year.
“The accused have been identified and are seen moving freely in the Mewat village. The court has even declared them proclaimed offenders but the Haryana police barely takes action against them,” a source said.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
