Trade Fair to begin on Sunday
The thirtieth annual India International Trade Fair is set to start from November 14 in the city. The fair, the biggest in Asia, will be inaugurated by Union commerce and industry minister Anand Sharma.
In view of the global energy crisis, “Clean and Energy-Efficient Technology Products and Services” has been chosen as the theme of the fair. The products related to energy-efficient technology will be displayed in state and Union territory pavilions. This year, Maharashtra will be the partner state while Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh will be the focus states. The theme pavilion, Energytech and Envirotech will have readymade dresses, electrical appliances.
Over 7,000 exhibitors from India are participating in the fair.
On first five days, the fair will be exclusively for business visitors and will be thrown open to the public on November 19.
The tickets for business visitors are valued at `400 and `40 for general public. For children the ticket will cost `20. On weekends, the ticket will cost `60 for adults and `30 for children.
