Speeding truck hits motorcycle, delhi cop killed

A 42-year-old Delhi police head constable was killed here after a speeding mini-truck hit his motorcycle, the police said on Friday.

Satender Sharma, who was deputed with the Delhi police special cell, was heading to his office around 7 pm on Thursday when the speeding truck hit his motorcycle from behind in Welcome area.
Sharma, a resident of Ghaziabad, was rushed to the GTB Hospital where he was declared brought dead due to excessive bleeding caused by head injury.
A case has been registered and the errant driver, whose identity is yet to be disclosed, has been arrested.
