Scrap trader, cousin shot dead
Bodies of two men were recovered from Kabir Nagar in northeast Delhi. There were multiple bullet and stab injuries on the bodies. The deceased have been identified as 28-year-old scrap dealer Shahbaz and his cousin Babu Khan, 20.
Some passersby found them lying in a pool of blood around 1 am on Sunday and informed the police who rushed them to a nearby hospital where they were declared brought dead. “They were returning home after dropping Shahbaz’ sister Tahira,” said the police. The police suspects the involvement of a business rival Shahnawaz in the incident.
Shahbaz was shot at by Shahnawaz 18 months ago and he was allegedly pressuring him to withdraw the case. The police has launched a manhunt to nab Shahnawaz.

CBSE plans proficiency exam May

March 6: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct proficiency examination for students of Class 10 in May and June. The tests are conducted to ascertain the interests and capabilities of the students in various subjects.
According to CBSE chairman Vineet Joshi, the purpose of the examination would be to help the students decide the subjects they should take in Classes 11 and 12. These examinations will help find out how much knowledge the student has in a particular subject. The students will be asked to take a 100-mark test. There would be objective type questions. There will be negative marking for wrong answers.
