Robbers pose as cops, loot cash, gold

Unidentified assailants, posing as cops, robbed two men on Saturday night. Three assailants in police uniforms stopped Hemant Sharma, manager in an automobile company, at a barricade and robbed `12,000 cash, a gold chain and a ring in Dhaula Kuan at around 8.30 pm on Saturday.
In another incident, a “policeman and four others in civil dress” claiming to be from Delhi police’s crime branch robbed gold from an employee of Ganganagar-based jewellery shop in Fatehpuri.
