Police to remain alert against vandals in city

With the Games having passed off without any major hiccups, the Delhi police is not going to lower its guard for a few more days as there is a threat from the vandals who may like to jab into the buntings, posters and other such things that is likely to give the capital a bad name.
A senior police official said that skeletal staff would continue to be on guard for a few days at the stadia and other important points and see to it that the vandals do not strike. The security agencies have warned that vandals may target things like buntings, signages, electric illuminations, metal frills and fences and even the flower pots. The vandals have been targeting CWG hoardings installed in the past.
