Mercury is on the rise once again

The residents of the capital experienced another hot day on Wednesday with the mercury settling at a maximum of 41.8 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature was two degrees above normal while the minimum was recorded at 25.8 degrees.

The humidity levels oscillated between 12 and 52 per cent.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 35.5 degrees last Thursday and it had remained under 40 degrees Celsius till Sunday.
Met officials have forecast mainly clear skies on Thursday and said that the mercury will remain between 27 and 42 º Celsius. —PTI
