Marginal dip in 3rd cut-off list
Delhi University’s third cut-off list released late on Wednesday brought no respite for students seeking admission in computer science as most of the colleges kept it at 95-99 per cent for the course. Seats are still available in seven out of 22 colleges in computer science.
Hans Raj and Ram Lal Anand kept the third cut off for computer science at 99 per cent, followed by Acharya Narendra Dev (98.5), Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences (98), Miranda House (98), Keshav Mahavidyalay (96) and DDU (94.75).
College of Vocational Studies, which is already under pressure from parents and students after the over inclusion of students in English, still has seats in commerce (93.75-97) and economics (93.25-95.5).
Seats in English are still up for grabs at Daulat Ram (85.5-93.5), DDU (85-88), Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (90), Gargi ( 88.5-92.5), Hans Raj (93-96) , Hindu (93.5-94.5), Kirori Mal ((91-95.5), Miranda House (94-97.5) and Sri Venkateswara (90-96).
Ramjas, Hansraj, Hindu, Kamla Nehru, Daulat Ram, Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Ramanujan, Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Zakir Hussain (Evening), Delhi College of Arts and Commerce and College of Vocational Studies still have seats in B.Com. (H) and B.A. in economics (H) with a slight drop in cut-offs.
SGTB Khalsa, Shyam Lal, Ram Lal Anand, Gargi, Dyal Singh, Dyal Singh( Evening), Deshbandhu have closed admission for most of their courses including commerce, economics and English.
