Man robbed of Rs 15 lakhs in outer Delhi
A collection agent of a jewellery firm was allegedly robbed of Rs 15 lakhs by two motorcyclists in the Mangolpuri area of outer district on Saturday morning. So far, the police is trying to trace the unidentified motorcyclists.
Investigating officers said that Divender was robbed after collecting cash from a client in a Mangolpuri-based stone market. The police said two men on a motorcycle started following Divender after he left the stone market area. “Divender was waylaid by the motorcyclists at the main road in Magolpuri. The assailants snatched a bag containing Rs 15 lakhs cash and fled from the spot. The incident happened around 10.30 pm. Further investigations into the incident are going on, the police said.

4 incidents of fire in city, none injured

Four incidents of fire were reported from different parts of the city on Saturday. However, no has been injured, stated the fire department officials.
A fire broke out due to short-circuit in a Nehru Nagar slum around 11 am. Fire department officials said that is fire tenders which rushed to the spot took three hours to bring the situation under control.
In the Mundaka area, a minor fire broke out in a shoe manufacturing factory around noon. A minor fire also broke out in a cardboard factory in the Kirari area around 9.15 pm. So far no one has been reported to be injured. Meanwhile, a rice mill caught fire in the Zafarpur area of west Delhi.
