Man kills brother, suspected affair

Suspecting him of having illicit relationship with his wife, a man allegedly stabbed his younger brother to death in west Delhi’s Moti Nagar area.

The police said the accused Amar Singh allegedly killed Puran Singh over suspicion that he was having an illicit relationship with his wife for last seven years. They were staying together since 2000.
The incident took place on Saturday when Amar overheard Puran hurling abuses at him while his friends were there. Amar barged into the room and allegedly stabbed Puran in his chest, abdomen and escaped.
The victim was rushed to DDU Hospital where he succumbed. The police arrested Amar from a bus stop when he was trying to flee. He has confessed to his involvement in the crime and the knife used in the commission of the crime has been recovered.
