Man, his 2 sons held for murder

The Delhi police has arrested a man and his two sons in connection with the murder of a youth in Vasant Kunj last Thursday.
The accused, identified as Bachchu Prasad and his sons, Laxman Kumar and Pintu Kumar, who live at Kapil Farmhouse, Church Road, in Vasant Kunj were arrested for the murder of Pradeep Paswan, 20, whose decomposed body was recovered from ridge area in Rajokri on May 5.

The police said the deceased’s brother, Dalip Paswan, had filed a complaint at the Vasant Kunj police station on May 4 stating that Pradeep had gone missing.
“During investigations, it was learnt that the deceased was having an affair with Bachchu Prasad’s daughter against the wishes of her family. The two families had an altercation about six months ago over the issue,” a senior police official said.
The police conducted a raid on the farmhouse and apprehended the three accused.
“During interrogation, they confessed to have committed the murder of Pradeep Paswan. On the intervening night of May 2 and 3, Bachchu Prasad heard his daughter talking to Pradeep and came to know that he was coming to the farmhouse. The three accused then planned to eliminate Pardeep and hid in a corner and waited for him there,” the police official said.
“When Pradeep arrived at the farmhouse, the three accused overpowered him and killed him by smothering and strangulation. Thereafter, they removed his clothes, put the body in a gunny bag and carried it on a bicycle to Rajokri Forest Area and dumped it in an old mine. They burnt the gunny bag and clothes of the deceased in the farmhouse,” the official said.
The bicycle used to ferry the dead body, the iron rod used to assault the deceased and his mobile phone have been recovered at the instance of the accused.
