Man held for Rs 20cr fraud

The Economic Offence Wing of the Delhi police has arrested a 38-year-old man for allegedly cheating a businessman `20 crores by selling him a government land in south Delhi on the basis of forged documents.

A senior police official said the accused was identified as Pawan Solanki, a resident of Noida, Sector 50. The police said they got a complaint against him thorough one Ajay Chaudhary, a resident of Vasant Kunj.
“Ajay told the cops that Pawan and his associates entered into an agreement with him to sell properties in Jor Bagh and Mayfair Garden in Hauz Khas. They gave the victim forged documents and took the money.
