Man hangs self from ceiling fan

A 45-year old security official posted at the Safdarjung Airport allegedly committed suicide at his south Delhi residence on Saturday evening.
The police said that the deceased, identified as Mahender Kapoor, a security official at Safdarjung Airport, was found hanging from the ceiling fan at his Air India Colony,

Vasant Vihar, residence by his wife Madhu Kapoor who informed the police control room. The victim was taken to the AIIMS Trauma Centre where doctors declared him brought dead.
His wife, Madhu Kapoor, works with US embassy. “Madhu returned home from work on Saturday evening and found the main gate of the house bolted from inside. She started knocking on the door but there was no response. Madhu then alerted her neighbours and the door was broken,” a senior police official said.
