Man falls in pool at party, hurt

A 27-year-old man was injured when he accidentally fell in the pool in the house of Navy War Room leak case accused Abhishek Verma at Vasant Kunj in south Delhi on Sunday.

According to the police, the man, Jatin, apparently fell into the pool during a party that was going on at Verma’s Vasant Kunj residence.
The police was informed and the man was rushed to a nearby hospital where his condition was reported to be stable. The man was allegedly in an inebriated condition when the incident occurred.
A case has been registered at the Vasant Kunj police station against unknown persons and further investigations are on.
Verma was arrested by the CBI in June 2006 in connection with the Navy War Room leak case. He was later released on bail. However, Verma, accused of procuring sensitive information through his defence contacts, was not named in the FIR.
