Man dies of H1N1, 20 fresh cases

One more person died of swine flu on Friday. Besides, 68 fresh cases of dengue were reported on Friday, taking the total number of cases to 2,153.
“Death of a person suffering from swine flu has been confirmed in Apollo hospital. He was a resident of Delhi and 20 new cases were also reported taking the total number to 1,390,” DGHS, Dr S. Bhattacharjee said.
The dengue outbreak has also raised concern among several countries sending teams to participate in the Games to be held here next month. Over 20 nations sought information from the Games Organising Committee about the dengue outbreak and steps being taken to combat it.

NCW seeks report from Delhi Metro

The National Commission for Women has sought the action taken report from the Delhi police and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation on the alleged sexual harassment of a woman officer working in DMRC.
On Thursday, a 30-year old woman, had levelled sexual harassment charges on her boss. NCW chairperson, Girija Vyas, said it is a very serious matter and asked the Delhi police and DMRC for an ATR report.
The woman, a legal adviser, claimed that she was harassed by her senior for the past few days.
The woman filed a complaint at the Barakhamba police station and also informed her top bosses in DMRC.
The Delhi Metro had also ordered an internal inquiry into the matter.
