Homeless people wrap themselves in rented quilts on rented cots near Jama Masjid in Delhi on Wednesday. The Delhi high court on Wednesday directed the city government to inspect all 64 permanent night shelters in the city along with an NGO and file a report by December 19 giving details on the condition and occupancy of the shelters. Delhiites experienced the coldest day of this winter on Wednesday with the mercury dipping to a low of 6.4° Celsius. — AP
