Hoaxes puzzle gurgaon cops

A bomb alert was sounded at the Sikanderpur Metro station on Friday, prompting a search operation, the police said.

An anonymous call was received at the police control room at around 12.40 pm. Saying that a bomb had been planted at the Sikanderpur Metro Station on the Jahangirpuri-Gurgaon line, a police officer said. A search operation was immediately mounted and the dog squad was also pressed into service. Another call was made to the control room at 12.40 pm indicating that the bomb was planted at the EMAAR MGF building, he added.
