DU college cancels 30 admissions
Rajdhani College has cancelled admission of more than 30 students under the sports quota.
“The sport trial was done and a staff council meeting was held on July 30. The members unanimously decided to cancel admissions under sports quota as we noticed that some students had taken seats just to contest students’ union election,” said a source present in the meeting,
“Some students good in sports were selected in other college but withdrew from there as they were not getting a ticket there.” the source added.
The aggrieved students are reported to be filing a petition in the Delhi high court over the issue.
