Doc held in carjacking incident

The Delhi police on Friday arrested a doctor in connection with vehicle thefts in Rohini area. The accused, Dr Manoj Kumar Singh, an M.D., is a practising physician.
“Singh has a medical degree from Russian State Medical Academy. He belongs to a reputed family. His father and mother are doctors and his wife is a pharmacist,” confirmed DCP (outer district) Chhaya Sharma.

The investigating officers added that Dr Manoj wanted money to expand his clinic into a big hospital and entered the world of crime with the help of a compounder Deepak Bharadwaj, who is working in a hospital where Singh is administrator.
