DMRC to teach new recruits
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has initiated a special training programme for recruits of Bengaluru Metro who will handle stations at various levels. The Bengaluru Metro will be operational by the year-end.
Eighty-four candidates who have joined as station controllers and train operators in the Bengaluru Metro are undergoing training at the Delhi Metro training institute.
“The Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Ltd has requested the Delhi Metro to train about 383 candidates. At present, 84 candidates are being trained for five months,” a metro official said.

Aug. 8: The Asian Institute of Medical Sciences, the super speciality hospital in Faridabad, organised a lecture for pregnant and new mothers to promote awareness regarding breast-feeding on August 5. The lecture was organised to mark the World Breastfeeding Week, which was from August 1 to August 7. Thd lecture focussed on the risks of artifical feeding and the advantage of breast-feeding.
