Court order in Nangloi case May 21
In a separate anti-Sikh riots case in which an FIR was registered against senior Congress leader Sajjan Kumar in the Nangloi police station, a Delhi court on Saturday reserved its order on the application filed by the
prosecutor, who sought direction with regard to a chargesheet prepared by the police against Kumar and never produced before a judicial officer. After hearing the arguments, additional sessions judge (ASJ) V.K. Goyal said the order on whether directions could be issued to the police to file the chargesheet before a competent court would be passed on May 21. The court had on April 21 said the chargesheet was prepared by the police but never brought before a judge to seek prosecution.
