Court: conduct supplementary exam in 6 months

A division bench comprising Justices A K Sikri and Siddharth Mridul of the Delhi high court has sought a response from the Delhi University after hearing a plea of a law student for direction to hold supplementary examination in each

semester to give another opportunity to students to clear their papers.
Issuing a notice to the DU, the court asked it to file an affidavit within three weeks, and said, “Why will LLB students, who are in IInd and IVth semester, not be allowed to appear in supplementary examinations?”
The court also asked the counsel for the DU to make its stand clear by October 24, the next date of hearing in the case.
