Computers stolen from Civil Lines
Unidentified miscreants broke into a private firm in north Delhi’s Civil Lines area and decamped with computers and accessories worth lakhs of rupees on Friday night.
The incident came to light when a salesman arrived at the office near Punjab National Bank in Civil Lines on Saturday morning, the police said.
“He found the main lock broken and the office ransacked. He called up the owner, Arvind Bansal who rushed to the office and called the police control room.
A team of cops sealed the scene for collecting forensic evidence including fingerprints and footmarks.
The owner told the police that more than 35 computers and accessories are missing.
“There are three or four assailants travelling in a small truck or lorry,” a senior police official said.
