Clearance to allotment of society flats

Chief minister Sheila Dikshit on Monday gave given green signal for allotment of flats to members of disputed cooperative group housing societies, who have been waiting to shift to their flats for the last so many years.

Ms Dikshit said that the government has resolved the complex issue of allotment of flats to the members of such societies as most of them were under CBI investigation.
The government has instructed the Registrar, Cooperative Societies, to forward the list of members to DDA for holding draw of lots and regularise the results of self draw subject to certain conditions.
